DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, Mass., "Tambour #1" mantel clock, 8 day, time and house strike, spring driven balance wheel movement with lever escapement in a polished brass case on ball feet with a six inch silvered dial and applied brass numerals.
CONDITION:
The brass case is in excellent condition, having been polished fairly recently. The dial has been resilvered, so it looks very good. The dial is not signed. The applied brass numerals indicate that this is one of Chelsea's "Special" dials. The hands are correct. The signed movement is serial number 81049.
